This 1-Day Mount Bisoke Crater Hike & Adventure Tour in Rwanda will take you to the top of Mount Bisoke at 3,711 meters above seas level, a volcano in Virunga Volcanoes national park.
It is one of the most hiked volcanoes of the Virunga massif.
Day 1: Mt. Bisoke Hike – Volcanoes National Park
Your hike tour driver will pick you up early in the morning (5:00am) from Kigali city and you will start your drive to Volcanoes National Park where Mt. Bisoke is located.
First stop is at the park offices in Kinigi for briefing and completing some formalities and then you will be driven to the starting point of your trek.
Follow your experience guides’ guidelines as you trek to the summit of Mt. Bisoke to have a safe, comfortable and enjoyable hike.
Be aware of your surroundings for you can be lucky and spot some primates on your way up and beautiful bird species.
Your hike to the top of Mt. Bisoke and back to the foot hills will take about 6 hours.
Bisoke volcano has a beautiful crater lake at the top and together with the scenic views from the top, provide breath taking moments.
On return to the base of the volcano, you will be transferred back to Kigali city.
