Amakoro Songa Lodge – Amakoro Songa Lodge lies on a 7-acre plot with manicured lawns surrounded by the Muhabura, Gahinga, and Sabyinyo volcanic mountains.
Located in a small village outside Kinigi Town, it consists of 8 luxurious cottages designed and built to fully exploit the serene surroundings, offering visitors a splendid experience with nature.
The lodge derives its name from the black volcanic rocks characteristic of the mountainous side of Rwanda, which is home to the endangered mountain gorillas.

It costs at least USD 1,200 to USD 2,450 per night during normal seasons, although prices can escalate during peak seasons when accommodation demand is high.

Early Check-In:
- Before 07:00 AM – 100% of the room charge.
- Between 07:00 AM and 10:00 AM – 50% of the room charge.
- Between 10:00 AM and 01:00 PM – Early check-in at no charge, subject to availability.
Standard Check-In Time: 02:00 PM (extra charges apply for early check-in depending on the time).
Check-Out Time: 12:00 PM (noon).
Late Check-Out:
- Until 6:00 PM – 50% of the room rate.
