It is situated on the northwestern border of Volcanoes National Park, which is home to more than one-third of the remaining gorilla species in the world.

Structural Framework of Singita Kataza House
The house is constructed with local materials, including volcanic rock, river stone, handmade ceramic tiles, and oven-red clay bricks made by surrounding communities, which connect the villa to the landscape and its culture.
These elements are incorporated into a modern and unique architectural layout.
The interiors have been carefully handcrafted by layering texture and color, and introducing detail through artisanal and handmade pieces including woven panels, handmade tiles, and clay feature pots.
The spaces are both reflective and interactive, creating a unique and cozy textured experience that meets the standards of this extraordinary place.
Being completely private, the villa is set alongside Singita Kwitonda Lodge.
Guests at Kataza House enjoy access to all facilities and amenities at the lodge, offering additional spaces for relaxing, entertainment, and dining.

Complimentary comfort kits consisting of items such as sun cream, a sweat towel, tissues, a buff (required by Rwandan Parks), and brown sanitary/toilet eco-bags.
