Detailed 10-Day Rwanda Gorillas Tour & Zanzibar Beach Holiday Itinerary
Day 1: City tour – Volcanoes National Park
After breakfast at your hotel, check out and your tour driver will pick you up and take you on a tour of Kigali city to start off your 10-day Rwanda and Zanzibar holiday.
After the city tour, have lunch and then you will be driven to Volcanoes National Park. You have the rest of the day at your own disposal.
Day 2: Gorilla trekking and Guided cultural tour
You will take on the gorilla trekking activity early in the morning in Volcanoes National Park after a briefing from the park’s officials and a ranger guide will lead the way to the trail head and into the forest.
You will trek the gorilla family assigned to your group and depending on its movements and location, your trek will take about 2-7 hours.
After the trek, later in the day, you will be guided to a rewarding cultural tour in the Gorilla Guardians village.
Day 3: Flight to Zanzibar
Depart Volcanoes national park early in the morning after your breakfast and drive to Kigali airport to catch your flight to Zanzibar for your beach holiday.

Your beach holiday guide will pick you from the airport and drive you to your hotel in Stone town where you will spend your first night on the island.
Day 4: Stone Town Tour
Stone town is the pot of Zanzibar’s culture and history written and displaced around the town through its architecture, ways of living, buildings and traditions.
A tour of this UNESCO world heritage site whether driving or on a walk through its streets will give you a glimpse of its historical structure and making.
Check out places like the old slave market, Arab fort, Sultan’s Palace, Anglican Cathedral, the House of wonders and the Forodhani gardens. Return to your hotel for an overnight.
Day 5-9: Beach Holiday
Spend these 5 days in Zanzibar at your own pace.
There are a lot of places of interest you could choose to visit and activities you can take part in.
To mention but a few; Minai Bay marine reserve in Kizimkazi, Jozani forest, Prison Island, Spice farm among others and activities like snorkeling, boat trips, diving, swimming, beach games and the night life in Zanzibar.
Day 10: End of the wildlife and beach holiday
