The risk of contracting yellow fever while in Rwanda is very low compared to other African countries.
Although the World Health Organization (WHO) once listed Rwanda as a yellow fever-endemic country, it now considers the risk of exposure to yellow fever in Rwanda to be low and has removed the country from its watch list.
If you are traveling from the United States or the United Kingdom, you do not need a yellow fever vaccination certificate.
